Today we pray for those living in Bruce Street, Fife Street Dallington Park Road, Dallington Hall and Dallington Court
Please pray for all those involved in the Ukrainian War and the Iranian Conflict
especially all those injured and killed
Prayer for Lent ;
God, you love me as your own child.
May I bend my life and will toward you
so that I might accept your teaching and guidance.
I am so grateful for your support in my life,
now and in the eternal life you are preparing for me.
I beg for your help and Spirit in my life today.
Morning ;
God be with thee in every pass,
Jesus be with thee on every hill,
Spirit be with thee in every stream,
Headland and ridge and moor.
Each sea and land, each path and meadow,
Each lying down, each rising up,
In the trough of waves,
On the crest of the billows,
Each step of the journey thou goest. Amen
Evening ;
Blessed are you, O God,
who dwells even in darkness
and who restores your creation with the gift of rest.
Deliver your people from the troubles of the night,
and let your peacefulness and grace be upon each place. Amen.
