Today we pray for those living in St. James Park Road, Ambush Street, The Bartons Close, Baring House and Baring Road.

Please pray for all those involved in the Ukrainian War

especially all those injured and killed

Morning

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.

Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.

Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy.

Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.

Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy, Amen.

Evening

As I lay down in sleep

to safely wake again only by Your grace,

keep me in a joyful,

lively remembrance that whatever happens,

I will someday know my final rising–the resurrection–

because Jesus Christ lay down in death for me,

and rose for my justification.
